The Group First Started As A Chance Meeting Between A Few People At The Lake Side, From There We Decided To Meet Up As Often As Possible To Share Ideas & Sail.

Things Soon Took Off & We Took Part In Our First Model Boat Show In Liskeard Of 2009.

As Interest Grew It Was Decided To Become A 'Club' During The Liskeard Show Of 2010.

We Regularly Sail All Types Of Boats, From Fishing Trawlers, Military Crafts, Tug Boats & Yachts, & Any Other Boat That Interests Us.
However NO IC Boats Are To Be Used On The Lake As This Causes Disruption To The Locals, This Is Beyond Our Control.

Sailing Normally Takes Place On A Sunday Around 9-10am Until The Batteries Are Dry Or The Weather Turns, We Also Meet During The Week For Evening Sails Throughout The Summer Months.

The Lake Is Of Brackish Water, There Are Local Amenities Close By, Shops & Toilets. Parking Is Limited To The Road Side But This Has Not Put Anyone Off So Far.

We Regularly Meet Up With The Plymouth Model Boat Club On A Sunday And Share Our Lake With Them As Their Boating Areas Are Limited To The Ponds Outside The Civic Center In The Middle Of Plymouth, This Is A Good Opportunity To Meet New People, And Socialise Outside Of The Group.

All In All Its A Great Day Out!
